PROGRAM GUIDELINES

Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation offers programs to families
who have a child battling cancer, diagnosed prior to their 22nd birthday, 
living in Santa Barbara, Ventura and San Luis Obispo Counties in California.
For patients ages 18 - 21, in order to qualify, they must be treated on a pediatric protocol. 

While our Financial Stability Programs, Educational Advocacy Programs and Emotional Support Programs and are offered to families of all income levels who have a child in treatment in the Tri-County area, some of our Financial Stability Programs are only offered to qualifying low-to-moderate income families per the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) state and county limits.

 

For low-to-moderate income families interested in receiving financial assistance, a 

Financial Assistance Application must be completed by you and your child's social worker and submitted to our organization for approval prior to receiving these services. Please contact your social worker or click the button below regarding questions concerning eligibility.

Why Gold?

Although many colors were considered, gold was agreed upon as the ideal choice for childhood cancer awareness because gold is a precious metal, and is therefore the perfect color to reflect the most precious thing in our lives - our children.
